If your garage floor is uneven it can be difficult to obtain a good door bottom seal.

The floor in my garage is not leveled. Put a ladder under the door to make sure it won t close accidentally while you re working on it. An un even floor in your garage it is very common. In most cases its due to foundation movement tree root seasonal wether patterns and can be a little as a 1 8 inch difference on either side of the bottom garage door.

A more severe uneven floor can be up to a foot in some places where homes are built on a hill and require a custom fit bottom section that is up to 21 inches difference.

We have products in stock to close a gap up to about 2 inches on either side of the door and still keep your door plumb level and balanced. And then you can properly level it properly reinforce it and then repour it and be done. The concrete settled after the initial installation and as the concrete began to settle the door began to sag thus creating a gap. Keep the door open a few feet off the ground as this takes the pressure off the door springs.
